Who can nominate to be selected

To nominate for selection, students must be:

• enrolled at an affiliated school.
• born in 2012, 2013, 2014 for the 12 years and under team.
• born in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 for the 13 to 19 years team.

To nominate as a multiclass student with disability as above, plus students must hold a classification.

Where and when

Gold Coast, Queensland from

• Wednesday 24 to Saturday 27 July for the 12 years and under team.
• Saturday 27 to Wednesday 31 July for the 13 to 19 years team.

Travel dates may vary due to flight availability.

• 12 years and under team manager – Eric Kiploks, School Sport SA
• 12 years and under team manger – to be advised
• 13 to 19 years team manager – Ryan Bennett, St Leonard’s Primary School
• 13 to 19 years team manager – Ingrid Cobiac, Unley High School
• 13 to 19 years team manager – Charlotte Twizell, Blackwood High School

The team will be under the supervision of the team officials to meet supervision ratios.

How to nominate for trials

Nomination form and due date to be advised.

You will receive a confirmation email within 2 business days once your nomination has been processed. Your school will also be sent a copy as confirmation of your nomination. Your school has the right to not approve a child’s involvement based on behaviour, attendance and other grounds as determined by the school.

Selection process and criteria

12 years and under including multiclass students with disability

All year 4 to 6 swimmers must compete at the School Sport SA Swimming Sapsasa State Championships and year 7 swimmers must compete at the School Sport SA Secondary Championships. Students unavailable for these events and wish to be considered must nominate online and email Paula Nielsen paula.nielsen@sa.gov.au with valid reasons for unavailability. Inclusion will be made on an individual basis and is the discursion of School Sport SA
